Alta LIC
Alta LIC is a new sleek residential building situated in Long Island City. At 47-stories, this modern building was designed by Stephen B. Jacobs Group and with construction completed earlier in 2018. Within all four of the building's elevators can be found Kinon resin and safety laminated glass. The Kinon and glass panels are applied to the rear and side panels. The reveals, binders, and fronts are faced with blackened steel. Adding the final touch are the natural stone tile beige floors. These materials are also found in the lobby of the building creating an eloquent transition from lobby to elevator.
THE MATERIALS INVOLVED INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
DROP ceiling: Custom stained wood planks.
LIGHTING: SIX (6) L.E.D DOWN LIGHT system.
wall panels: rear and side walls are faced with kinon surfaces resin & adjacent panels faced with safety laminated mirror. all the panels are wrapped with blackened steel binders & held in place with aluminum z-clips.
HANDRAILS: ONE (1) faced leather.
