245 East 63rd Street

Designed by architects Wechsler & Schimenti and built in 1963, Regency Towers or 245 East 63rd Street is a 532 unit, 34 story luxury building located on New York's Upper East Side. Earlier this year we undertook the modernization of all six elevator cabs - combining materials such as Gage Cast, Dark Oxidized Muntz, and Black Absolute Marble. An effortless assortment of materials resulting in an elevator design that is minimalistic, modern, and quintessentially "New York" chic.

 
 

The Materials Involved Included The Following

  • Drop Ceiling: faced with Dark Oxidized Muntz and six (6) LED light fixture system.

  • Wall Panels: faced with architectural wire mesh. all the panels are held in place with aluminum z-clips & wrapped with stainless steel binders.

  • Hand Rail: Faced with Dark Oxidized Muntz.

  • frieze, reveals, base. & fronts: Faced with Dark Oxidized Muntz

  • Floor: faced with natural stone Tiles.
